New intermodal connection between Vienna and Melzo

The new TransFER Vienna–Melzo will replace the TransFER Vienna–Piadena and expand our service to the south with two services per week. Our customers will benefit from continuous international handling from one source and shorter transportation times.

The service is ideal for moving from road to rail. The Melzo terminal is in the catchment area of Milan, with good transport connections. The Wien Süd freight centre also offers an ideal connection to Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria as well as Slovakia.

With the TransFER Vienna–Melzo it is possible for customers to transport dangerous goods safely. In addition, forwarding from Melzo to Bari/Ravenna/La Spezia/Lyon is possible with our partners. We not only integrate important economic regions in Italy, but also provide an ideal logistics solution for continental transport units.
