RCG and Transporeon

Making the switch to rail easier than ever: Booking of RCG rail and intermodal transports now possible on Transporeon platform

Road transport customers across Europe can now benefit from the unique cooperation between Europe's leading rail logistics player RCG and the globally established Transportation Management Platform Transporeon. To become part of the future of intermodal and multimodal transport, all you have to do is secure your spot in the innovative pilot project.

Three routes for a sustainable switch

For the first time, customers have a particularly low-threshold opportunity to shift their shipments to less CO2-intensive rail and intermodal chains. The pilot project is being tested on these routes

  • North-East Austria (Greater Vienna) to Lombardia (Milan area)
  • Southern Austria (Carinthia) to Northern and Southern Italy
  • Northern Bavaria (Würzburg area) / Central Germany (Wuppertal / Kreuztal) to Veneto (Verona/Vicenza area)

In addition, our customers will have exclusive access to many other benefits that will be gradually tested, expanded and implemented on the Transporeon platform.

Your benefits at a glance

  • Benefit from a full integration of rail and intermodal transports as part of the end-to-end supply chain
  • Request, book and execute rail and intermodal transports via the Transporeon platform
  • Retrieve real-time data (position, status, ETA) at shipment level
  • Get access to greenhouse gas emissions calculations (ISO 14083), including the highest possible number of primary data.
