Swap bodies enable fast and efficient transhipment between different modes of transport – and are therefore key elements in intermodal freight transport. With a length of 13.6 metres, a load volume of 86 m² and the ability to transport a wide variety of goods (from liquids and pallets to machinery) they are true all-rounders in railway freight transport.

Flexible loading and unloading: The advantage over classic containers

In contrast to conventional containers, our swap bodies have flexible tarpaulin walls instead of fixed side walls. This means that they are not only easily accessible from the side, but also from above – a clear advantage when loading and unloading. Many of the 300 units in our inventory are also equipped with fold-out support legs to make handling even easier.
