A particular advantage is the site’s own 350-metre-long, partially covered industrial siding. Goods can be brought directly to the warehouse by rail and prepared there for the next steps. Eleven loading bays are available for onward transport by truck. This means goods can arrive, be temporarily stored, processed, consolidated or split up, and then transported onwards as required.

7,250 m² that can do more than store goods

Győrszemere offers a total of 7,250 m² of storage space. Of this, 4,250 m² is covered, while a further 3,000 m² is outdoors. The maximum storage height is 7.5 metres. This makes the storage area slightly larger than an international football pitch. But space alone does not make good warehouse logistics. What matters is how flexibly it can be used.

In Győrszemere, storage options range from block and racked storage to customs and tax warehousing, as well as temperature-controlled storage between 7 and 17 °C depending on the season. The goods that pass through here are equally diverse: food, palletised fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), goods in big bags, granulates, steel products, goods for the automotive industry and other industrial goods. Eight forklift trucks, two reach trucks and two electric pallet trucks ensure that goods end up where they are needed – and are just as quickly on the move again.

When one delivery becomes many

In complex supply chains, a large delivery does not always match actual demand. A plant, for example, may only need part of the goods each week. Several recipients may need to be supplied from one single delivery. Or products may need to be repacked and labelled before continuing their journey. This is where the warehouse becomes a flexible link in the chain. 

In Győrszemere, goods can not only be stored, but also transshipped, picked, packed and labelled. The services also include the organisation of FTL and LTL transport, groupage services and distribution. Customs procedures can also be handled with the support of reliable subcontractors.
