Area of Responsibility

As a member of the Executive Board of Rail Cargo Group, Bettina Castillo is responsible for Production, Digitalisation, Finance and Legal Affairs. She manages the finance function across the entire group and drives digitalisation and innovation in a targeted way to make rail freight transport fit for the future. By further developing production at an international level, she strengthens Rail Cargo Group’s own traction capabilities. Bettina Castillo holds a doctorate in business administration and has around 15 years’ professional experience in global supply chain management. Prior to this, she conducted research at several universities on logistics network planning and combined transport.
