In 2023, the RCG team once again attended the industry’s largest and most important trade fairs all over the world. Our logistics experts showcased the latest products, gained valuable insights into the latest trends and challenges and forged many contacts with future customers and partners. In short, it was a complete success.
China – China International Import Expo (CIIE)
The sixth CIIE took place in Shanghai between 5 and 10 November. More than 2,800 exhibitors showcased their products and services over an area of 30,000 m2. The RCG also opened its own branch office in Shanghai in 2023, which makes it all the more important for us to have a presence at one of the most important trade fairs on the Asian market in the context of Chinese trade and international economic relations. The RCG team in China was joined by ÖBB CEO Andreas Matthä and RCG board member Christoph Grasl.
Italy – Ecomondo
Ecomondo is a leading trade fair for green technologies and sustainable development and took place for the 26th time in Rimini between 7 and 10 November. The latest environmental technologies and innovations were exhibited over an area of 150,000 m2 and dialogue between experts was encouraged. The RCG was present with its own exhibition stand focusing on waste management issues. Many types of waste lend themselves particularly well to being transported by sustainable rail freight. The RCG has been carving out a reputation as a competent partner in this field for many years.
Turkey – logitrans Istanbul
logitrans Istanbul is the largest trade fair for the logistics and transport industry in Turkey and the Eurasian region and is therefore an annual fixture in the RCG calendar. More than 200 exhibitors showcased their products to 12,000 visitors from 43 countries between 15 and 17 November. The RCG is the market leader in Turkey and has a local presence comprising 22 employees, who were once again able to expand their network of customers at the trade fair.
