Looking back to a successful “Made in Steel”

Rail Cargo Group (RCG) was represented in Milan with their own stand, having discussions with representatives from more than 50 companies.

The “Made in Steel” trade fair is one of the most important events for the steel industry in southern Europe. It has been held every two years since 2005 and combines a classic exhibition with meetings, forums and expert discussions. This trade fair ran from 9-11 May and attracted visitors to Milan from all over Europe. RCG had a stand in pavilion 22.

Tremendous interest and high demand

During the three days of the trade fair, RCG staff had the opportunity to speak to representatives from over 50 companies and discuss the idea of future cooperation with them. Existing client relationships are deepened whilst the foundations for completely new partnerships are also laid.

The interest in TransFERs to Poland, Sweden and Turkey was particularly noteworthy, and the same applied to the range of Italian locations offered by RCG - the locations of Desio, San Stino, Marcianise Maddaloni, Lugo and Trieste were frequently requested. Furthermore, there were also enquiries from companies who were interested in national links to the ports at Ravenna and Marghera (Venice). After an intense week at the trade fair, the verdict was unanimous: “Made in Steel” was a resounding success yet again in 2023.
