Funding

The German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure adopted a directive for transport and digital infrastructure to promote rail freight ('RL af-TP') as a measure in the Rail Freight Master Plan.

According to this directive, we would like to state that the rail transport companies within the Rail Cargo Group (Rail Cargo Carrier - Germany GmbH and Rail Cargo Austria AG) will be the main beneficiaries that will receive funds for the promotion of rail freight transport through proportional financing of the approved train path charges (af-TP). These funds are included in our prices.
