News on our Turkey TransFER connections

ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (RCG) is constantly adapting its TransNET in the interests of its customers and with a view to current market requirements.

RCG's Turkey connections at a glance:

NEW: TransFER Curtici–Tekirdag

with five round trips per week. This was made possible with the support of Pasifik Eurasia. This connection replaces the three weekly round trips from Curtici to Istanbul and provides a direct connection to the port of Tekirdag – an important transhipment centre for traffic flows between Western Europe and Turkey via the gateway Curtici, as well as for transit traffic. Last but not least, Turkey is an important freight hub for shipments between Europe and Asia.
