Warning strike of the Gewerkschaft Deutscher Lokomotivführer ends

As already announced, the warning strike by the Gewerkschaft Deutscher Lokomotivführer (GDL) ended today, Friday, 13 August 2021, at 02:00 in the morning.

Although only transports with DB Cargo were affected by the strike measures. Nevertheless, there may still be delays on our TransFER connections due to backlogs. We ask for your understanding.

As already announced, a strike by the Gewerkschaft Deutscher Lokomotivführer (GDL) will take place from 19:00 today, August 10, 2021.

The strike is expected to last until Friday, August 13, 2021, 02:00 in the morning. However, according to information from Deutsche Bahn, there is also the possibility that the strike may be extended or restarted at a later date.

We would like to point out that only transports with DB Cargo are affected by the strike measures. We have taken all possible measures in advance, nevertheless there may be delays in our TransFER connections due to obstructions of the infrastructure caused by the strike.

According to current information from Deutsche Bahn, the strike is scheduled to begin today, August 10, 19:00 in freight traffic. This strike is expected to last until Friday, 13.08.2021, 02:00 in the morning. As a result, we expect delays as well as individual train cancellations on the domestic German route network or to and from Germany.

Unfortunately, we are not yet able to provide exact times or affected TransFER connections. However, we are continuously planning and organizing our transports in order to transport your goods safely and efficiently to their destinations.
