New member of the Board from 2022

From 01.01.2022, the railway logistics expert Gottfried Eymer will join the Board, taking responsibility for market and sales. The lawyer succeeds Thomas Kargl, who is moving on to new professional challenges after more than four years on the Board team at Rail Cargo Group (RCG).

Gottfried Eymer will focus on RCG’s international orientation, with a particular emphasis on expansion towards Russia and Asia. He has amassed over 20 years of international management experience – most recently as Managing Director of the French subsidiary of DB, Euro Cargo Rail. Thanks to his in-depth knowledge of both strategy and operations, he is renowned in the railway industry as a true logistics expert.
