Information about financial support „SGV-Plus“

for certain forms of rail freight transport in Austria 2023 to 2027 and on the granting of aid for rail transport services in the market segment "manipulated freight transport" for which infrastructure charges are paid to ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG (or Raaberbahn AG) in Austria.

The support programme "SGV-Plus" is composed of the two pillars (i) rail freight transport support (SGV support) and (ii) infrastructure charging support. Within the framework of the SGV promotion, consignments of single wagonload transport, unaccompanied combined transport and rolling road in Austria are supported with a subsidy by the Republic of Austria, BMK (Federal Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology - formerly BMVIT), under certain conditions. Within the framework of the infrastructure charge subsidy, rail transport services in the market segment "manipulated freight transport", for which infrastructure charges are paid in Austria to ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG (or, in an extension of the scope of application, since 1 May 2023 also to Raaberbahn AG), are supported with a subsidy by the Republic of Austria, BMK (Federal Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology - formerly BMVIT).
