Since 3rd December 2012, shipments of single wagonload traffic, unaccompanied combined transport and rolling road, can be supported under certain conditions mentioned in the "Sonderrichtlinien Beihilfeprogramm für Schienengüterverkehrsleistungen" by the Republic of Austria, Ministry of Transport (BMK - formerly BMVIT).
As part of this funding, beneficiaries are obliged to inform about the subsidy, on their invoices that involve rail freight services eligible for funding.
